Bundesliga round 27: Schalke 4 - 1 HSV

The home win against Kaiserslautern last time out had given HSV hope that they could finally win away from home for the first time in an age. Well, the thought was nice, but reality is a different matter as this saturday afternoon showed, as HSV went down 1-4 in the Schalke Arena in front of a sell out crowd of 61,222. HSV (as usual...) started the better of the two sides, but it took only nine minutes, before they found themselves a goal down.

Schalke: Heimeroth - Lamotte, Hajto, Waldoch, van Kerckhoven - Delura, Hamit Altintop, Vermant, Böhme - Sand, Glieder -

HSV: Wächter - Fukal, Hoogma, Ujfalusi, Hollerbach - Schlicke, Jarolim, Kling - Mahdavikia - Romeo, Takahara -

Goals: 1:0 Waldoch (10.), 2:0 Sand (30.), 2:1 Mahdavikia (35.Pen,) 3:1 Lamotte (43.), 4:1 Delura (55.).
