HSV Tracking Tuncay
Klaus Toppmöller watched Croatia play Turkey twice yesterday. First the HSV Coach watched the under-21 sides, before then watching the A-teams. Toppi was there to cast his eye over the talented young Turkish striker Tuncay (22), who is currently under contract at the Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
The 21 year-old is rated Turkey's hottest young talent and has scored 13 goals this season.
The player's agent confirmed HSV's interest in his client but said: "Fenerbahce will be playing Champions League football next season, HSV aren't even in the UEFA Cup." Looks like Toppi has some tough bargaining ahead if he is to land the youngster.
