Zahovic returns to Slovenia National Team

SL Benfica forward Zlatko Zahovic has reversed his decision to retire from international football and been named in Slovenia's squad for this month's friendly with Poland.

Zahovic, who turned 33 last Sunday, was selected alongside former national-team captain Miran Pavlin for the 18 February match in Spain, despite both declaring last November that they were concentrating on club football. The decision followed Slovenia's failure to reach the UEFA EURO 2004™ finals after losing their two-legged play-off against Croatia.
