Superliga Tuesday Wrap: Benfica Win In Match Dedicated To Feher

Benfica pulled off a 2-0 win over Académica on Tuesday in front of nearly a full house in Lisbon.

All off Benfica's players had Feher's name on the back of their jersey's instead of their own, while Académica striker Kaka, who wears number 29, changed his number for this contest in honour of the Hungarian.

Zlatko Zahovic opened the scoring in the 29th minute, after he headed in a free-kick from Petit.

Benfica doubled their lead through substitute Geovanni in the 66th minute when he tapped in a cross from Alex.

This was Geovanni's first game back after a lengthy lay-off.

With this result, Benfica remains in third place but and are still nine points behind league leaders FC Porto.
