FC Utrecht in the Dutch Cup 1/2 Final

Holders FC Utrecht needed an 81st-minute winner from Stefaan Tanghe to finally end the challenge of Heracles Almelo, who took a 19th-minute lead through Roel Buikema. Goals in either half from Dave van den Bergh and Hans van der Haar turned the match in Utrecht's favour, although the match looked destined for extra time as Yuri Rose levelled for the second division side four minutes past the hour before Tanghe's late effort. The final result stayed Utrecht 3 - 2 Heracles.
