HSV 1 - 1 Bochum

It could have been such a great day for the HSV Coach Klaus Toppmöller against the club he coached for five years. As it turned out, it took a late goal by Bernardo Romeo to salvage a point from a game which HSV should have won by a mile. A crowd of 37,667 in the AOL Arena saw the home side miss a hatful of chances, and in the end HSV were in fact a little fortunate to take a point from this Bundesliga round 19 match.

HSV: Wächter - Wicky, Hoogma, Reinhardt, Hollerbach - Mahdavikia, Jarolim, A. Meier, Beinlich - Romeo, Barbarez

Bochum: Van Duijnhoven - Colding, Kalla, Fahrenhorst, Edu - Zdebel, Oliseh - Wosz, Freier, Hashemian, P. Madsen

Goals: 0:1 Colding (70), 1:1 Romeo (83).
