Leonardo Astrada is the new River Plate coach
As previously announced by Football United, Leonardo Astrada will assume the coaching position at Buenos Aires team, River Plate, after the former coach, Manuel Pellegrini, left the team, following the defeat in the Copa Sudamericana final.
El Jefe, former star midfielder for Los Milionarios, will be officialy presented as the new coach on January 8th, two days before the team starts working on pre-season, to prepare the Clausura Tournament and the Copa Libertadores.
