Olympiacos 2 - 1 Aris Thessaloniki
Olympiacos CFP edged to the top of the Ethniki Kategoria table with a 2-1 home victory against Aris Thessaloniki FC, after rivals AEK Athens FC and Panathinaikos FC both slipped up.
Early lead
Olympiakos took the lead in the third minute thanks to a close-range header by Ioannis Okkas. Two minutes later, Aris equalised with a spectacular volley by Agapitos Abelas but Giorgos Georgiadis scored the winner on the hour mark with a powerful shot from close range.
