Andres D´Alessandro flies home early

The Wolves’ midfield Maestro Andres D´Alessandro will leave the club’s training camp in La Manga on Thursday January 13th and fly to Munich via Madrid. The little Argentinean international has a long standing groin problem, and will have a thorough examination by the Bayern Munich and German national team physician Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt. D´Alessandro will return to Wolfsburg on Saturday, the squad will arrive home a day earlier.

"Wait and see"
"We will just have to wait and see how the examination goes, during the first half of the season we proved that we can cope if D’Alessandro misses the odd game or two. We can only plan after the results of the examination are known," says the new club manager Thomas Strunz.

Early exit
D´Alessandro was taken off the pitch after only 27 minutes during Wolfsburg’s 1-1 draw against HSV, in a friendly played in Spain on Thursday.
