Hansa Rostock 1-2 Wolfsburg



VfL Wolfsburg went top of the Bundesliga for the first time in their history after Pablo Thiam's late goal brought a 2-1 victory at FC Hansa Rostock.

Jentzsch saves penalty
With VfB Stuttgart not playing until tomorrow, Wolfsburg knew that three points would lift them into first place, and Erik Gerets' side took the lead on 17 minutes through Diego Klimowicz. They they were pegged back 16 minutes later when Kim Madsen scored and it took a save from Simon Jentzsch to stop Markus Allbäck putting Rostock ahead from the penalty spot before Pablo Thiam struck the winning goal 12 minutes from time.
