Botafogo 2-2 Vasco da Gama

Botafogo has wasted another opportunity to sum all three points, and escape from the relegation zone, after drawing against Vasco, in one of the historical Rio de Janeiro derbies.

Botafogo took the lead by Almir, half-way through the first half, and scored the second by Elvis, just seconds after the referee ordered the restart of the match. But Vasco da Gama fought back, and, due to and inspired Petkovic, managed to came back, scoring in the beggining and in the end of the second half.

Holding on to early leads is starting to be a cronical problem for Botafogo.
