Brazilian`s Alex de Souza and Marcio Nobre got the goals to earn us 4-1 victory away against Akçaabat Sebatspor. Ogun Temizkanoglu scored an own goal to start us off in the Fatih Stadium.
Rüştü Reçber started the game for the first time in nearly a year-and-a-half while another international Servet Çetin had to stay out due to his knee injury.

Alex was involved in the first goal, as his free-kick cross was headed into goal by Ogun in front of his keeper. The home side scored early in the second half to bring the score level, taking advantage of some slack defending of a set piece.

The Brazilian international once again entered the scene when it mattered most. In the 83rd minute, Alex`s poor delivery of a free-kick was chased by himself, and after putting enough pressure he rectified his mistake by regaining possession before rounding the keeper cleverly and scoring with his right foot.

His compatriot Marcio Nobre joined the scoresheet with a second attempt after a headed cross from Umit Ozat. He added another in the 88th, capitalising on a shocking error by Petar Milosevski.

Our side can now concentrate on the Champions League opener against Sparta Prague after getting three points in the bag.
