Fanfan seals PSG switch

Paris Saint-Germain FC have signed José-Karl Pierre-Fanfan from AS Monaco FC.

Loan spell
The defender spent last season on loan at the Parc des Princes and was a first-team regular as PSG finished second in Ligue 1 and sealed a berth in the UEFA Champions League group stage. The 28-year-old, formerly with RC Lens, has signed a three-year deal.

Summer signings
PSG also officially unveiled their five other major summer signings yesterday. Pierre-Fanfan's former club-mate Jérôme Rothen also moves from the Champions League finalists, while Sylvain Armand, Mario Yepes and Jean-Hugues Ateba all join from FC Nantes Atlantique. Former Lille OSC defender Stéphane Pichot completes the quintet. "They're all ambitious and I hope they'll show their talents in Paris," coach Vahid Halilhodzic said.
