MILAN - The Nerazzurri were beaten 2-1 by Udinese in Sunday afternoon's Serie A Week 21 match at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The visitors took a 53rd-minute lead when Pinzi's ferocious right-foot shot went in off the near post, then redoubled on 66 minutes through Fava, who bundled the ball home from six yards after beating two Inter defenders to Jankulovski's cross.
Julio Cruz pulled a goal back with a diagonal shot into the roof of the net after Vieri brought down a ball played into the Udine penalty box.
Boosted by the entrance of Greek midfielder Karagounis, Inter pushed hard for an equaliser in the final stages of the match but were denied on numerous occasions by an in-form De Sanctis.
