Estrela da Amadora 2-0 Olhanense

Estrela reached the third position in the Second League, after a home win against Olhanense. During the first half hour the team from Algarve took control of the game, and only Veiga stopped them from taking the lead, after a magnificent save to a not less spectacular free-kick from Jorge Vidigal.

To the second half, António Conceição, Estrela's coach, brought in forward and man-of-the-match Henrique, to replace central defender Santamaria, and the substitution had imediate effects. Three minutes in the second half, and Henrique assisted brilliantly Rui Borges, that scored a wonderfull goal with his heel. Later, with ten minutes to play, and after Wesnalton was sent-off, Henrique rested the home fans, with a nice arched goal, after a well built couter-attack.

ESTRELA DA AMADORA: Veiga; Quim Berto, Santamaria (Henrique, 45'), Hugo Carreira, Wesnalton; Rui Borges (Fonseca, 75'), Carlos, Hugo Machado, Zamorano; Verona, Rómulo (Mauro Bruno, 62').

OLHANENSE: Bruno Verissimo; Jorge Vidigal, Paulo Sérgio, Lameirão, Branquinho (Ricardo Silva, 82'); Cafú (Edinho, 66'), Sérgio Marquês, Alexandre; Vasco Matos, Afonseca (Livramento, 45'), Toy.
