Yet another draw for Inter at home (Inter 0 - Chievo 0)
MILAN - The woodwork and Luca Marchegiani denied Inter three points at the Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday afternoon as the Nerazzurri drew 0-0 for the second match in a row.
On from the first minute for the second time, Greek midfielder Giorgios Karagounis could have put Inter in front on the half hour when his superbly struck free kick from 20 yards came back off the Chievo crossbar.
Inter's other meaningful chances fell to strikers Adriano and Vieri after the restart. On 61 minutes the Brazilian outjumped the Chievo defence to head Kily's left-wing corner over the bar at the far post, then Vieri 's diagonal volley from Lamouchi 's through ball on 76 minutes was expertly saved by Chievo custodian Marchegiani, who also parried a long-range effort from the French midfielder.
The Nerazzurri's next match is away to Ancona next Sunday.
