Bosnia bows to Barbarez
Hamburger SV striker Sergej Barbarez has been named footballer of the year in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The striker has scored four goals in 15 Bundesliga games this season, and continues to be a fine performer for Hamburg, whom he joined in 2000 after spells with FC Hansa Rostock and BV Borussia Dortmund. He will receive his honour at a ceremony in Sarajevo on 18 December.
