Fiorentina suffered an early goal after just seven minutes and was unable to react for the whole game. Inter had a great performance (even though the winning goal started from an Adriano offside) and put the Viola in difficulty throughout the whole match, except for the end of the first half. In those 15 minutes, the Viola went close to score with Bojinov and Toni, where Julio Cesar made a great save. In the second half Frey had to outdo himself with at least four decisive saves, but Fiorentina was unable to attack with any accuracy. First defeat of the season for Fiorentina as next Sunday the Viola host third-placed Livorno.
