Wolfsburg signs Peter van der Heyden
On Thursday (4.11.04), the club announced the signing of the Belgian international defender Peter van der Heyden. The 28 year old will join the Wolves at the start of next season from the Belgian giants FC Brügge. The Belgian international has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at the VOLKSWAGENARENA until June 30th 2008.
Winners mentality
The Wolves coach Erik Gerets is delighted with the signing of his compatriot: „I know him very well and he won’t only enhance our side because of his attitude, he is also a fine footballer who always plays to win. I’m delighted that he has agreed to join us,” said an obviously delighted Gerets.
