Peñarol 2-1 Cerrito
Peñarol started its participation in the Clausura Tournament of the Uruguayan championship with a hard achieved victory. A goal in the last minute by Cristian Rodriguez gave some fairness to the score, and three points for the Aurinegros. Peñarol lined-up in the starting eleven with two former youth players: goalkeeper Fernando González and striker Gonzalo Pizzichillo, that scored ins his debut.
