Bayer Leverkusen 3 - 0 HSV

HSV has still to win away from home in the Bundesliga this season. On Saturday afternoon (2.10.04), Klaus Toppmöller and Co. went down 0-3 away to a rejuvenated Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga round 6 clash in front of 22,000 in the BayArena. The loss sends HSV hurtling down to second bottom of the Bundesliga table, it has to be said though, that the score line flatters coach Klaus Augenthaler's star-studded side. The result was easily two goals too high, and if HSV had converted half of the chances they managed to create over the 90 minutes, they might even have won the match.

Bayer Leverkusen: Butt - Juan, Nowotny, Placenta - Schneider, Ramelow, Ponte (77.Kaluzny), Freier (60.Babic), Krzynowek - Berbatov, Franca (68.Voronin)

HSV: Pieckenhagen - Schlicke, Van Buyten, Reinhardt - Boulahrouz, Brecko, Jarolim (46.Mahavikia), Rahn (46.Kucukovic), Barbarez - Mpenza, Takahara

Goals: 1:0 Krzynowek (10.), 2:0 Juan (72.), 3:0 Berbatov (86.)
