KA 0 - ÍA Akranes 5

ÍA scored five goals in Akureyri yesterday against KA to win the game 5-0. Ellert Jón Björnsson scored the first goal after 20 minutes and Stefán Þór Þórðarson made it 2-0 before half time. Into the second half Ellert Jón Björnsson made it 3-0, then Gunnlaugur Jónsson and Þorsteinn Gíslason both scored to make it 5-0. KA ended the game with nine men after Ronni Hartvig and Pálmi R. Pálmason were sent off.

ÍA are now in fourth place, four points behind the leaders Hafnarfjördur. On August 15th ÍA plays home to 5th place KR, while Hafnarfjördur plays away to 2nd place ÍBV.
