Sporting Anderlecht have beaten Beveren 0-1 on Saturday afternoon. In the beginning of the second half Mbo Mpenza scored the only goal of the match on a good cross of Zewlakow. Before the break Anderlecht spilled their chances, but they never let Beveren get into the match. During the second half the hometeam became more dangerous, but the best chances were once again for Sporting.
