Fernandez Leaves Espanyol and Could End Up At Benfica

Luis Fernandez and Espanyol have parted company and now the Portuguese media are reporting that he will likely sign on with Portuguese giants Benfica.

"I would have liked to continue at Espanyol, but that will not be possible so I must look to other options. I don't want to comment on Benfica just yet. I would like to go home first and then think about the future," the French manager said.

Fernandez has also managed Cannes, PSG and Athletic Bilbao.
