PSG lifts the French Cup

Paris Saint-Germain FC claimed their first silverware in six years as Pauleta's second-half goal saw off second division LB Châteauroux 1-0 in the French Cup final.

Pauleta winner
With PSG having won nothing since the 1998 French Cup and League Cup, they were desperate for victory. However, Châteauroux made it tough for them, and it was not until the 65th minute that Pauleta finally broke the deadlock with a powerful header.

PSG lift the cup for the sixth time - only ten-time winners Olympique de Marseille have claimed the trophy more often.
