Olympiacos FC beat Aris in Rizoupoli by 3 – 0, playing for the championship’s match day 29. This victory allows the reds to continue their pursuit of the championship title, which –if conquered- would be the 8th in a row. The champion will be decided next Saturday, May 22, at the competition’s last match day. The reds will host the game against Egaleo and Panathinakos will travel to Pirgos in order to face Paniliakos.

The game in Rizoupoli against Aris merits of no special reference, as following a mediocre first half, during which Olympiacos FC almost scored twice with Kostoulas (3rd minute, out) and Giovanni (42nd minute, Dellios saved), the second half fully belonged to the reds who won the game and added three more points to their total. In the second half, Olympiacos speeded up. Georgiadis at the 57th minute scored the opener with a beautiful loft and following an assist from Georgatos. Next, Georgatos scored at the 78th minute (2 – 0) by a shot close to the post and a magnificent combination between Giovanni and Pandos, following a pass from Pandos to Geo. The score was modified once more (3 – 0) at the 82nd minute with a header by Giovanni, following yet another assist from Georgatos.
