Bundesliga round 30: HSV 4 - 2 Cologne

HSV won three valuable points to move within one point of 7th-placed Schalke in the Bundesliga table by way of a 4-2 win over bottom-placed club Cologne in the AOL Arena this afternoon. The result doesn't really do the visitors justice because Cologne was easily the better side in the first half, so much so...that they could have been four goals up at the break.

HSV: Wächter - Wicky, Ujfalusi, Reinhardt (31. Benjamin), Fukal - Rahn, Schlicke Jarolim, Mahdavikia - Romeo (73. Hleb), Barbarez (73. Cardoso)

Cologne: Wessels - Schröder, Dogan, Sinkiewicz, Voigt (60. Feulner) - Kringe, Frederico (60. Streit), Grujic, Sinkala - Scherz (75. Springer) - Podolski

Goals: 0:1 Rahn (40.), 1:1 Podolski (43.), 2:1 Barbarez (52.), 3:1 Jarolim (64.), 4:1 Fukal (69.), 4:2 Springer (83.)
