Bundesliga round 23: Hansa Rostock 3 - 0 HSV

The visitors had their eye on a UEFA Cup place, while Hansa Rostock were looking behind themselves towards the drop zone...although only three points separated the two sides before kick-off. In truth, Hansa Rostock thoroughly deserved the 3-0 victory, and was better than Coach Klaus Toppmöller's side in all departments.

Hansa Rostock: Schober - Möhrle, K. Madsen, Hill - Tjikuzu, Rydlewicz, Lantz, Maul, Melkam - Arvidsson, Max

HSV: Wächter - Reinhardt, Hoogma, Ujfalusi, Kling - Mahdavikia, Wicky, Beinlich, Rahn - Benjamin, Romeo

Goals: 1:0 Melkam (5.), 2:0 Arvidsson (20.), 3:0 di Salvo (79)
