V. Guimarães 1 - 0 Estrela da Amadora

In the game between the laste placed in the Portuguese Superliga, the team from Guimarães took the best over the team from Lisbon, with a goal in the beggining of the second half, a header from Nuno Assis.

It was not a good game. The teams appeard insecure and tired, due to the table position, and the stressfull need to win. V. Guimarães dominated the match, but Julio Cesar missed the chance to give one important point to his team. Near the end of the game, the brazilian failed to score from the spot, as the Guimarães keeper, Jerome Palatsi, made an effort defense to keep his goal intact.

Estrela da Amadora is more alone at the bottom of the table, being that Paços de Ferreira (the third of the last three) also won it's match.
