Pellegrini to leave River after Cup Final
It is almost certain that the River Plate coach, Manuel Pellegrini, will leave the club after the second leg match of the South American Cup Final, on friday. The most probable successor will be Leonardo Astrada, former River Plate star midfielder, although Daniel Passarela is a name that as not yet been set aside.
River Plate will play for the South American Cup in Peru, against Cienciano. The first leg match, in Buenos Aires, ended in a 3-3 draw.
