Braga 0 - 0 Benfica



The Portuguese SuperLiga continued to be the most open in Europe at the weekend with four teams - Sporting CP, Benfica SL, FC Porto and Boavista FC - all level at the top with 38 points from their 21 matches and SC Braga just a point behind on 37.

Porto and Benfica stumble
Sporting had the best result among the leaders with a comprehensive 5-0 win against Rio Ave FC while Boavista defeated CS Marítimo 3-2 at home. But reigning champions Porto stumbled with a 0-0 draw against Vitória SC, while Benfica also dropped points in another goalless draw at SC Braga.

BRAGA – Paulo Santos, Abel, Paulo Jorge, Nunes, Pedro Costa, Andrés Madrid, Vandinho, João Alves, Jaime (46', Cesinha), Wender (85', Baha) e João Tomás (79', Paulo Sérgio).

BENFICA – Quim, João Pereira, Luisão, Ricardo Rocha (31', Alcides), Dos Santos, Petit, Manuel Fernandes, Geovanni (85', Bruno Aguiar), Simão, Nuno Assis e Nuno Gomes (62', Delibasic).
