Utrecht won against ADO Den Haag with goals either side of half-time from Alje Schut and Stefan Tanghe. The result keeps the side in fourth, two points ahead of AZ Alkmaar, who also won by two goals in a 3-1 win against Willem II. Former Willem II player Denny Landzaat scored the decisive third ten minutes before time.
