Defensor Sporting 2-1 Peñarol



Peñarol was unable to confirm the rise in team form, after qualifying in the Copa Sudamericana and achieving the first victory in the national tournament, and stumbled before a fantastic Defensor.Carlos Bueno, Peñarol star striker, performed to the best and the worst. After missing a penalty, in the 67th minute, he scored Peñarol's only goal, only to be sent-off in the dying minutes of the match.
