PSG hand Hélder contract
Paris Saint-Germain FC have signed former Portugal defender Marino Hélder from SL Benfica.
Trial spell
The 33-year-old Angolan-born full-back has agreed a one-year contract after impressing on trial at the Parc des Princes after his contract with the Lisbon side expired. Capped 35 times by Portugal, Hélder, if he recovers from his current injury, could make his Ligue 1 debut against Toulouse FC next Saturday as Mario Yepes is suspended
Rocchi loan
Meanwhile, PSG have loaned midfield player Romain Rocchi for one year to SC Bastia. The 22-year-old played 18 games last season as the capital side finished runners-up to Olympique Lyonnais in the French league, though 15 were from the substitutes' bench. At the other end of the table, Bastia narrowly avoided relegation after finishing 17th.
