Rubens Sanbueza's only goal gave River a slim advantage in the quarter-finals of the Libertadores. Los Millionarios didn't transform their superiority in the pitch on to the final result, and will have to work hard on the second leg, to be played in Colombia next week, if they want to go through to the semi's.
