Benfica strong in the Transfer Market

Several coatchs are being linked to substitute Camacho in Benfica. In the top of the list is Scolari, currently in front of the Portuguese National Team. Also mentioned are Fernandez, Hiddink and Koemen.

But independently of the coatch, benfica wants to streight their squad for next season. The brasilians internationals from Santos, Alcides and Paulo Almeida are already signed and Yanick (french goalkeeper from Alverca), and Carlitos (attacking midefielder from Estoril) are very close of signing a deal with the Eagles.

Beside this players Benfica want more 5 players with international reputation: a goalkeeper, a defender center, a left defender, an attacking midfielder and a striker.

According to the journal "A Bola" the choise to the defender center goes to Fernando Couto and the prefered Attacking Midfielder is Alex, from Cruzeiro (already linked to Benfica since the Winter Break, as FU previous announced). To the attack the press is linking Larsson, the swedish star, and the brasilian Amoroso.
