Slavia 1 - 0 Banik Ostrava



Slavia won the home game against the ruling champions Banik Ostrava 1-0, although they had more possession and put Banik under pressure, especially in the first half, they were unable to add the second goal. The winner was scored early in the seventh minute after very good play from Adauto, Karel Pitak shot on the turn and the ball was slightly deflected into the net by Martin Latka. Slavia earned ten corner kicks in the first half, were the better side in the second half, but Ostrava still could have equalised in the final minutes. Luckily Radek Cerny denied Ostrava striker Zdenek Pospech. Slavia recorded their fourth straight victory.
