Lazio 1-2 Milan



Andriy Shevchenko scored twice in four minutes to help heave ten-man AC Milan seven places up the Serie A table into fifth by virtue of a 2-1 victory against S.S. Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.

In a game which also saw the yellow card flourished eight times, Massimo Ambrosini was sent off for a dangerous challenge on Emanuele Filippini as Milan risked dropping points for the the third time in four games. But Shevchenko turned the game on its head after Fernando Couto had given the capital club a 37th-minute lead, scoring on 80 and 84 minutes. Lazio, who could have gone top with victory, are joined by Milan on seven points, three behind leaders Juventus FC.
