Willem II 3 - 1 PSV

Injury-hit PSV, without the suspended Mark van Bommel and John de Jong, fell behind when Tom Caluwe opened the scoring eleven minutes into the second period. The Eindhoven side were reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Kevin Hofland in the 73rd minute and Bart van den Eede swiftly doubled the lead. Swiss youngster Johan Vonlanthen pulled one back six minutes later but Van den Eede was on target again in injury time to seal PSV's fifth defeat in their past eight matches.

Goals: 57 Caluwé (1-0); 75 Van Den Eede (2-0); 77 Vonlanthen (2-1); 90 Van Den Eede (3-1)
